Clint Jessen is a 5th generation farmer and has been farming on his own since 2000. With the exception of updated equipment, Clint, with his wife Ashley, their 3 children, and their incredible staff farm organically the way his great grandfather did over 100 years ago. Using heavy tillage and zero chemicals, the relatively dry climate in eastern Laramie County, Wyoming makes farming the old fashioned way work. Today Jessen Wheat Company raises organic wheat, barley, lentils, chickpeas, hay millet, alfalfa, and dry edible beans throughout the tristate area - Wyoming, Nebraska, and Colorado. In addition to farming, the Jessen's operate a certified organic grain elevator, where they not only have added storage for their commodities, but are able to assist organic neighbors in their storage needs as well.
