These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of Farmtrition, including its farm directory, search tools, links, submissions, and related content. By using Farmtrition, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.
1. Directory purpose
Farmtrition is an informational directory intended to help people discover farms, food products, and ways to purchase those products. Farmtrition is not the seller, producer, processor, distributor, certifier, or delivery provider for products listed on the site unless expressly stated otherwise.
2. Farm and product information
Farm names, locations, products, practices, certifications, availability, prices, pickup options, delivery areas, market participation, and purchase links may change. We work to provide useful and accurate information, but we do not guarantee that every listing is complete, current, or error-free. Users should confirm important information directly with the farm, retailer, market, certification body, or other applicable provider before purchasing or traveling.
3. Regenerative and certification claims
The term “regenerative” does not represent one universal legal certification. Farmtrition may display third-party certifications, farm-reported practices, directory-sourced information, or other qualification information. A listing on Farmtrition by itself does not mean that Farmtrition has independently certified, inspected, endorsed, or audited a farm.
4. External links and purchases
Farmtrition may link directly to farm stores, ordering pages, farmers markets, retailers, delivery services, or other third-party websites. Those sites are operated independently and have their own terms, privacy practices, prices, refund policies, and purchasing requirements. Transactions made after leaving Farmtrition are between you and the applicable third party. Farmtrition is not responsible for third-party products, transactions, websites, or services.
5. Farm submissions and corrections
If you submit a farm, correction, buying location, photograph, description, link, or other information, you represent that the information is accurate to the best of your knowledge and that you have the right to submit it. You grant Farmtrition permission to review, edit, format, display, and use submitted information for operating and promoting the directory. Farmtrition may approve, reject, modify, verify, or remove listings at its discretion.
6. Acceptable use
You may use Farmtrition for lawful personal and business discovery purposes. You may not interfere with site operation, attempt unauthorized access, introduce malicious code, use automated systems in a manner that materially burdens the service, impersonate another person or business, or knowingly submit false or misleading information.
7. Intellectual property
The Farmtrition name, site design, original text, software, database organization, and other original materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Farm names, trademarks, photographs, and third-party materials remain the property of their respective owners. Inclusion in the directory does not transfer ownership of third-party intellectual property to Farmtrition.
8. Advertising
Farmtrition may display advertising, including advertising delivered by third-party advertising providers such as Google. Advertising does not constitute Farmtrition’s endorsement of an advertiser, product, or service.
9. Disclaimer
Farmtrition is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant uninterrupted operation, the accuracy of every directory record, product availability, food quality, farming claims, or the performance of third-party websites or businesses.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Farmtrition and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the site, reliance on directory information, dealings with a listed business, or use of an external website.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the service changes. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Continued use of the site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
