KOA FARMS

Ecological, organic, regenerative farm using water buffalo for dairy products, land regeneration, and control of invasive plant/tree species. Have a constant stream of idealistic young, hard-working, willing to learn, work/trade volunteers. KOA is home to hundreds of trees: papaya, many kinds of citrus, many varieties of avocado, cocoa, moringa, and breadfruit. One of the main priorities is taro, a traditional Hawaiian staple. A natural stream flows into tilapia fish tanks and then into the taro fields. The fish feed the taro and the taro purifies the water. KOA farm has been improving the land and planting trees for 40 years.
