Stone Mill Dairy

We milk about 50 cows that have a unique blend of NZ Jersey, Brown Swiss, Milking Short Horn, Line Back, Holstein and Dutch Belted on 206 acres in majestic Madison County, NY. We have spent over a decade intensively developing the genetics of our herd to create the optimum grass eating animal that provides the most efficient grass to milk conversion. Our model of intensive pasturing can be readily applied to the next generation of organic farmers to ensure continued success in organic dairy farming.
